Hahah- it's probably an over exaggeration on my behalf. It's just so BIG and has all the verb conjugations and different tenses set out. If you learn German you will understand my appreciation.....:)

A "good cover" of a song basically constitutes an acoustic guitar and singing the lyrics like they're the most emotionally meaningful thing in the world when, realistically, they were ghostwritten by some guy/girl with a double degree in music+marketing.

Has anyone ever had a good 1am epiphany? Pretty sure all of mine have been bad. My most recent one centres around suddenly remembering some important stuff I forgot in my exam and now I want to go stand in front of a wall and scream.

All my best epiphanies happen after 1am! It's the only way to have them.

RIP to your exam - we've all been there.

^ This post defs makes me happy ^_^There's a bakery down the road from me that makes excellent nutella doughnuts for $1.20 each, but still rice > everything

You have to try the Nutella Donuts from Daniel's Bakery at HG! That is all.

Staburst lollies were like $1.30 at Coles for a while. Have you ever seen a better deal IN YOUR LIFE???

My housemate enjoys going to Playtime @ Crown. When he plays games, he gets tickets. Today, he brought home 370 sour Warheads (the entire box), which he paid for with a fun by-product.

THAT, my friend, is the best deal.

I'm not going anywhere near them though, woahhhh, the sugar..

Pretty sure my speech is getting worse.

Used to have a significant stutter (like, Grade 5ish). Mostly grown out of it, still stumble sometimes (apparently most people don't really notice it, but I definitely do lol).

Recently I've really struggled to get the words out, and it's really frustrating. Sometimes it changes what I physically say fluently, and subsequently changes what it seems like I'm saying (as nuances get lost etc.).

I start almost every sentence with "so" or "like" as a result - definitely becoming even more prevalent.

Oxford comma, Garamond, Avett Brothers, Orla Gartland enthusiast.

Sorry to hear that. I have a similar issue, and it greatly irritates me, so I feel your pain. I tend to sound worse the more stressed I get -- perhaps that's a factor for you.

I myself have a bit of a speech impediment, so I'm really careful with what I say -- sometimes rearranging my sentences to avoid certain words. I used to stutter, but not so much anymore. I can communicate fine, but it really stopped me from getting into debate competitions and sometimes meeting new people. I have a pretty deep voice too, and I've been told that can make me harder to understand too.

^Dude, considerable feels. Especially the rearranging sentences thing. Does it get worse for you when it's loud? It's worst for me when loud and when I'm tired - like you allude to, stress doesn't help.

My voice is one of the things I dislike most about myself. I legit can't even understand myself sometimes lol.

#Random thoughts

Sometimes I feel a little bit odd as I am the different one in the family. Both my bros being extroverts and me being an intorvert.

Oh yeah, definitely. If I can't hear myself, I find it more difficult to make sure I am clear. Also, if I'm not properly hydrated, I find I am more difficult to understand.

Yeah, I feel you, I'm the same -- I'm trying to get out of the habit of being silent just to avoid being misunderstood. I also talk really fast, so over the years, I've tried to compesate by making a conscious effort to talk a lot slower. However, I've been told that around people I'm really comfortable with, I tend to talk realllly fast.

That feeling of relief when something you feared the worst possible scenario for, you find out it's the complete opposite of that ^_^
