I've always wondered:
If we can remember the lyrics to a song due to its catchy tune and upbeat nature, do you think we can transition to remembering core essays in the same way?

I'm not sure if anybody has tried something remotely similar, but it's just a thought.

Most definitely! I did something similar last year - I didn't record me singing my essays hahaha, but for the bits that I was struggling to remember I used different inflections to make it easier to memorise :)

For English, I'd try to remember quotes by associating them with song lyrics or guitar riffs.

Like if a quote had a similar number of syllables to a riff had notes, I'd think of the quote to the tune of the riff. It actually works well -- I'd recommend!

Beginning to think that I really have a fear of being late when I have a nightmare about being late to an appointment that legit makes me wake up in a cold sweat. Adult life gets more and more exciting every day
Let's forget the fact that whilst I hate being late, I'm almost always late to uni and other things anyway
Haha...sounds like my life (but actually most of the time it's not even my fault!).
Speaking of dreams - I had a nightmare last night about an otherwise short friend who grew like 10 inches. And throughout the dream she would comment on how short I was and would occasionally poke at my head maliciously - and it made me feel very insecure. I don't know what that says about me tbh.
I think that means you have insecurities about inferiority? It's been years since I was interested in dream interpretation.
The night before last night, I dreamt of having a deep conversation with someone I didn't know.

Sounds good. Maybe you can leave us the recipe!

Yup. Done this for my recent set of exams. Every time I got a tune stuck in my head, I used it to memorise certain lines of content instead. I believe there is a psychological term for this, under recall methods. Rather ironically, I don't remember the term for it!
I remember in Year 10 when I named my pokemon different volume formulas.
My charizard was named 4/3(Pi)r3, and all my friends were like wtf.  :o
Haha! Lesson 1: How to study in daily life and recreation - Parts 1 and 2 (above). Someone got an idea for what Part 3's tip can be?  :P

not so much random as it is a nagging constant, but:

wtf am I going to do with my life, and how will I pay for it?!?!?!

Believe me, you're far from alone in such thoughts

Welll, had a bit of a fright today. I was with my housemate a few hours ago. He was driving, I was in the passenger seat. Driving down a narrow lane, a car comes speeding (maybe 15 over) towards us and doesn't give way. Looked like he was about to hit, so my housemate swerves left, and hits a parked car. His passenger side mirror is completely destroyed, and there's scratches/dents on the window from where the shards of mirror hit. Bit frightening, as if my window was down -- like it is 80% of the time -- that would've done real damage.

Ended up speaking to the owner of the parked car and filed a report with the police, so let's hope something comes of it.

Random thought: some people should walk more.

OKAY cool, got that out :P

wow glad you're okay, it's strange how things work out -- like you having the window closed

I just figured something: The pens at Deakin Uni are by the brand BIC, so if you ever want good quality pens, go to Deakin and you'll get them
