woaahhhhhh, the topic has gone back in time, amazing

I read that as 'back in lime'; how do I get rid of my constant lime thoughts? :(

Whenever I'm using tongs, I always have to click them together a few times to make sure they still work

I don't exactly do this with tongs, but I will always do this if I need to use a lighter. I work as a party host at a kids play centre, and the most embarrassing/annoying thing is when your all ready to do the cake, and the lighter decides not to work.

When you clear your calculator, do you also press the button multiple times?

Well I do when I need to do another calculation, just to make sure the numbers from the previous one don't someone come into the newer equation.

Feels. What about when you're testing a door handle to see if it's locked properly? Do you test it more than once (like a few turns in quick succession)?

The real-life equivelant of a shitpost. Literally.

I think it's silly. You can make a statement without making the cleaners' days that much worse. There are less messy ways to protest out there.

Sort of. I don't turn the handle as much, but more like push the door to see if it magically opens.

Ahh, a new habit for me to start, thanks. In a year's time, I'll have moved onto kicking the door will full force near the lock to see if it's sturdy enough to not be broken into :D

I also do this with my car - test the door handle when I lock it. Admittedly, it's just as much to help me remember that I actually locked the car, as it is to check that locking it worked.
