Feels. What about when you're testing a door handle to see if it's locked properly? Do you test it more than once (like a few turns in quick succession)?
Yep, definitely at least 3 times :).

The real-life equivelant of a shitpost. Literally.
I think it's silly. You can make a statement without making the cleaners' days that much worse. There are less messy ways to protest out there.
That was actually one of my first thoughts. Yeah, your points gone viral but is doing this actually going to change anything. It's not like the teacher's will clean that up or that by doing this a teacher will teach differently. It's just leaving the area gross for your fellow students and a freaking annoying mess for a cleaner to have to clean.

Sorry to interrupt the discussion, but I just had to post this somewhere - what are people's thoughts? :o
Apologies for my language... but my disgust cannot be explained in words.

She is bordering a young adult and knows right from wrong. That sort of action is what a 6 or 10 year old would do.. (no.. actually that's an insult to 10 year olds). There is no excuse for such sort of action and it detracts from or goal. Additionally, that it reduces any sort of credibility that she had from the start,,

I actually don't care what sort of goal she had because that's such a disgusting and immature thing of an act.

I also do this with my car - test the door handle when I lock it.
Me too!! Sure, the car alarm lights are supposed to mean that the car's locked, but what if it's not actually locked??? to be honest I think this habit started when I realised that I'm quite forgetful/ careless

I also do this with my car - test the door handle when I lock it. Admittedly, it's just as much to help me remember that I actually locked the car, as it is to check that locking it worked.
I used to do this in my brother's car. However, his car is super sensitive, so whenever I did, the alarm would go off really loudly. Really weird -- never been in a car so edgy before haha

Yep, definitely at least 3 times :).

I dare you to just do it once next time :D test your willpower

Oh wow I'm so glad I'm not the only one that gets so paranoid about locking the car. I'm more of a click the lock button a stupidly redundant amount of times kinda guy though

#random: I sometimes forget if I've tapped on my myki, so I sometimes go back to the myki reader and accidentally tap it off, so then I have to tap on again. :-[

I forget if I've tapped on with trams especially if I get on at uni, but they wouldn't fine me... right? I just hope for the best D:

I also check whether something has locked by testing it exactly twice.

Anyone else get annoyed when adding a phone number in a contact (iPhone)? The first one is "home" number, then "work" then "iPhone" and then finally it's "mobile"... Why isn't it the first one?

I just wear them :P (used to carry them with me but after 6 years I finally need to be able to read things when travelling).
I count the number of important things I need to take and if I don't count enough things  I know I've forgotten something

Awwww yesss, my (2nd) favourite band just released their first new song in years! They're from Melb, and I've been following then for years, so I feel quite attached to them as a band :D as always, the violinist is killing it

so my random thought is that today is a good day

Edit: Link for the curious. I don't really expect that's not already into prog/black metal to enjoy it, but thought it'd be appropriate to share anyway haha. Ignore the music video, nobody cares about them anymore

I have realised that I may need to go a bit  more than skin-deep for my assignment on a psoriasis.

Okay, I'll let myself out
