When I was a kid, I never got motion sickness. Not ever. Could read, play nintendo DS, face backwards, do whatever in the car, and I would not get motion sickness.

Now, basically all someone has to do is mention motion sickness and I start feeling queasy...legit, get it on boats, on planes, looking down microscopes, looking at my phone in a car, sitting in a packed or stuffy car (particularly bad), facing backwards on trains, looking at scrolling text, looking through thick glass (eg: at the aquarium), on swings, anything involving spinning, and probably so many other things.

Does this happen to anyone else?

Nowadays, I feel sick when I swing on a swing for too long. Never happened before, and it ruins all the fun. :(

100%

Had a bio SAC last year where we observed the stages of mitosis through a microscope, ended up having to run out of the room and throw up lol. Completely ruined the fascination about the cool sciencey stuff going on.

Spinning .. big no no for me
Reading or doing anything in the car, big no no for me.
Looking down little holes (microscopes, telescopes,etc)... big no no for me either.

Ham, cheese, and some sort of pasta sauce thing - make your own pizza toastie!
Also, ham and cheese in a croissant. Infinitely better than any type of bread.

I need to try the chicken, cheese, avo and spinach! Sounds delicious.

Setting: work; coworker has just picked up a pricing gun with sticker with a name on it.

coworker: um wtf heidi did you write a name on this
me (fixing coworker with astonished stare): what's the point of having possessions if you don't name them?!
coworker: uh what?
me (smiling blandly): meet my favourite trolleys, Elphias and Genevieve. and the best pricing gun, Wyatt. and the best tagging gun, Gloria. and the best rack, Jordy. here, shake hands with Gloria.
coworker: ...
me: oh no Gloria, where have you gone... ugh she's always running away, bloody Gloria
coworker: are you talking about an inanimate object
me (gravely): well, naturally; she's one of my best friends
coworker:
coworker:
coworker:
coworker: why am I working with this person

Just another round of talking to Calebark

Does anyone get a bit paranoid when cooking chicken? I diced + spiced a tonne of chicken for dinner, and I had to check it every 5 seconds because I'm scared of murdering a sibling with food poisoning

I avoid cooking chicken for this very reason.
