IM SO CONFUSED

what are academic sources? my essay is telling me i need 5 academic sources?
are academic sources simply academic journals or are they books as well?

please help, why they dont teach us these thing i will never know

Let me guess first year management ?

Books are catergorized as academic sources as well.

Try use journals whenever you can, next is probably government documents and official things like that then maybe scholarly books (not "10 cool science facts" or something like that). Textbooks and reference books are very good for science subjects, in other areas not so sure.
