Hi, I've just joined this site and figured I'd make a thread regarding the tutoring services I will offer for next year. I've already tutored a number of students this year, and will continue to offer tutoring in Methods, Specialist, Chemistry and Physics both at year 11 and year 12 level. When I did my VCE in 2006, I obtained an enter if 99.05, with my study scores in these subjects as follows:
Methods 45
Physics 43
Chemistry 41
Specialist 41
When considering these scores, also note that I went to a pretty average school, and received no tutoring myself (Note that I'm aware of the obvious irony of this statement
).
I have also obtained straight H1's in my first semester at uni in Maths, Chemistry and Physics. I'll be charging $20 per hour, and it will be either weekly or fortnightly, depending on my availability due to other possible commitments. I'll be offering tutoring at my place in Sunshine, which is about 10-15 kms west of Melbourne, and I also should be able to do tutoring at your place or the state library, provided I have a car by next year since I live pretty far from my station (note this may attract a slightly higher rate).
