Anyone got a soft copy of one of the exams? Just keen on doing it for fun to see how I'd go. Note that I'm 2nd year uni and not trying to get into med lol

trust me you dont want to do it.. thats 4hrs of your life gone..
besides you need to do it online to get a rough percentile as raw scores are pretty much meaningless.

That is fucked!   In the real UMAT, that would be a killer score so don't worry about it.

It'll be interesting to see what I get when I do it, but it probably won't be until early next week...

Thanks for the kind words guys.

I'm not really sure with it all still.  Some days are good, others are bad.  I know I can do it, but just a matter of me performing on the day.

I believe mindset really comes into it.  Walk in with a positive attitude and you will probably do awesome, but negativity may bring me down so I'm going to try and be extra positive on the day.

^stonecold, you are going to do amazing! all your scores have been quite good even the worst of them (and considering medentry being harder with a tougher cohort) you will get such a high percentile ^_^

Hey guys,
I am currently year 11 and will be doing the UMAT next year...
I have a few questions to ask if possible.

- Isn't the UMAT out of 300? Looking at some of the results here and they don't add to 300.

- Should I/When should I be starting a UMAT program? I hear that MedEntry is one of the top companies in terms of usefulness and relevancy. Do you actually go to a location to get tutored for MedEntry or is it all online?

This is what I've been up to lately.  

Exam 8
Section 1: 29/44 (67th percentile)
Section 2: 25/40 (44th percentile)
Section 3: 29/38 (79th percentile)

ACER Practice Test 1 2010
Section 1: 26/44  <  Edit: According to MedEntry, Q4 has an error.  Pretty sure they are right because I wasted time comparing two answers when they were both correct  
Section 2: 34/40
Section 3: 35/38

I stink at S1 and I don't know how to get better.  I feel as if all the information is being thrown at me and before I even understand what the question is asking, I've already exceeded the time for that question.

Maybe going nuts with the highlighter could help me filter out the crap.  It works in VCE.
