I'd honestly rather know that I did shit than not know at all, cause at least if I know that I did shit, I would use that as incentive to pick up my game and start working harder :P

If you do shit, you do shit. Thats it. Theres no, "working harder", unless of course you want to sit next year's.

In my brother's year at school, 2 people who got 99.85 did not get into medicine the first time because of UMAT scores. They are both currently doing medicine or have already finished. The UMAT is not the be-all and end-all of your pursuit to study medicine, so don't be too distressed by a negative result!

If it makes anyone feel better, I smashed the umat under 30 minutes for each section and so did everyone else at my school.

Jokes I didn't finish on time for any of them...

No, you still have so much more to do, your whole year 12 isn't even over yet, you have all that to work harder for, what are you talking about?

This sums it up perfectly! There's so many more opportunities even if you get a shit score, you just gotta be persistent!

Dear Acer officials,
Thank you for making such an amazing test.  I know it must be a "huge" task to get all the papers marked, but can you release the result, so that I don't need to have intimate sex with my F5 button?

Thank you.

tbh I would be pretty distressed over spending an extra year or two at uni (that is if you actually get into postgrad.) because of a multiple choice test.
