Can anyone help with Question B and C of the attachment?
So B uses the fact that for a transition matrix:
Looks a bit like alphabet soup, doesn't it? Well, all you need to know is that n is going to be the number of days you're waiting, T is the transition matrix you found in part a, and S_n is simply the state matrix (that is, the one telling you the proportions) after waiting n days. Wait, so what's S_0? That's what the INITIAL state matrix is - which you should be able to construct from the information in the question. To hopefully make this less alphabet-y and more number-y, if the question were asking what's the weather in 10 days, then the equation would be:
Hopefully that causes things to make a little bit more sense?
Part C uses the exact same idea
Also, no need for the all caps - all help will come in due course, no stress required
