The Genie Game
« on: January 01, 2013, 10:15:20 pm »
This game is simple. Make a wish, and the person to post next will grant your wish but make sure that it has a "defect".

For example:
Person 1: I wish to be the richest person in the world.
Person 2: Your wish is granted, but your wealth is in the form of 3 billion rabbits, 10 million cows, 368 million reindeer and 80000 geese. You may not sell these animals, but you must look after them well.

I wish for an infinite supply of chocolate.

Person 3: Wish granted. You are now locked in a house of chocolate, never to be let out. No matter how much chocolate you eat, it will replace itself.

I wish I ruled the world.

...

and so on.

I wish for world peace.

You have world peace but aliens have declared war on humans.

I wish for no religion.
‎"We divert our attention from disease and death as much as we can; and the slaughter-houses and indecencies without end on which our life is founded are huddled out of sight and never mentioned, so that the world we recognize officially in literature and in society is a poetic fiction far handsomer and cleaner and better than the world that really is."

Granted. There is no religion in the world (by this I mean Earth only), but God still exists somewhere in the universe and he decides to punish us for destroying Christianity with Noah and the Ark #2.

I wish for immortality.

Granted, but your life will forever be plagued with tragedy. (That was an easy one!)

I wish for bad things to happen.

Your wish is granted, but you become so bored in life now that there is nothing left to learn.

I wish I had a superpower.

Your wish is granted, but you end up spending all your time away from your family in poverty-stricken states of Africa (where there is barely anything to eat) saving people with your superpower.

I wish I could fly.

Granted, but you will forever be banned from sinning (e.g. telling lies).

You have your dream job, but you lose your dream life (including house, car, family, friends etc.)

I wish I were a maths and science whiz.

Granted, but you will also get everything that you don't want.

I wish I could sleep all day and all night.
