I am so damn keen, right. My new house has lots of space and it's a long-term lease. In addition, my landlord has allowed me to garden. Guess who just got a fucktonne of seeds from Bunnings mostly herbs I use for cooking to start off, but also easy stuff like strawberries and tomatoes. I'm going to keep getting more to build up the garden.


The downside to the day is I rocked up to Bunnings at 2:15. The Dulux dog was there from 11am---2pm

Just submitted an application for my Tax File Number and I'm internally screaming over the fact that I need to do an interview (meanwhile, everyone else in my family didn't have to do an interview -_-).

I just got my tax file number about a week ago and had to go for an "interview" at the post office, it was honestly the most casual thing ever. I booked a time and when I turned up the lady didn't even know I had a booking, she just said "yeah ok I can do that for you now". She asked for my documents, there was an awkward silence while she typed everything up, I had to sign a form and then I left, literally that was it.
So don't stress at all, I don't think "interview" actually means anything

I had the same thing happen to me, it was pretty chill!

They give you a temporary number thing until the TFN gets sent to you within ~14 days
(At least from my experience )

Same as insanipi, they told me it could be up to a few weeks (I can't exactly remember) but I got a letter on Friday, so just over a week. I didn't get a temporary number, I didn't need it immediately though so I don't know what the deal is with that.
