Ok then. No biggie, I just wanted to know what house I'd be in. and just, you know, live out my childhood dream. I wanted to be an auror when I was eight, not a boring real-world professional.

Auror? Yeah kind of cool. I want to be a teacher there. Never leave Hogwarts.

PS: I was sorted into Gryffindor, which was sweet.

Did you sign up for the beta? I'm hoping for Ravenclaw or Gryffindor. (hehe Swype on my phone recognizes those as words)

Ps. Sorry everyone else for derailing the thread. On topic, the original transformers Movie (animated from the 80s) is really good.

breaking dawn (conversation starter with the ladies)
LOL at watching breaking dawn to get girls, will only get you in the friends category at best.

Yeah at best. If ANYONE started talking about Twilight with me, male or female, I would walk away. And I would say something very undignified to them as well.

Harry Potter, always! The end of DHP2 was so sad. It was like the end of our childhoods. Some tumblrarians had this going on where at the end of the movie you were supposed to get out your wand and say lumos maxima at the end. I came prepared with wands for my friends (sticks from my backyard, I know Ollivander would be horrified). I forgot to do it though LOL

Breaking Dawn promises to be hilarious though, since the 4th book is the one where she accepts she can't write and just goes crazy with the story.

Rewatch lord of the rings, I'm doing that after exams.

From my working at Video Ezy for 2 years and spending each shift having people repeatedly ask me for these movies over and over and over and over and over: ....

Comedy:
White Chicks
10 Things I Hate About You
500 Days of Summer
Zoolander
The Hangover
Rush Hour
Stepbrothers
Mean Girls
Happy Gilmore, Big Daddy, The Waterboy (pretty much anything with Adam Sandler in it)
Dude Where's my Car (NOTE: hilarity of this movie is highly subjective)
Death at a Funeral (British version)

Drama:
The Shawshank Redemption
The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas
Slumdog Millionaire
The Hurt Locker
Chinatown
An Education
On the Waterfront
Precious

Action/Thriller:
Inception
The Dark Knight
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Part 1 and Part 2)
The Matrix
Public Enemies (Johnny Depp)
Bourne Identity (+ sequels)
Kick Ass
Sherlock Holmes
Inglorious Bastards
Pirates of the Carribean
James Bond (most are pretty good at face value - but avoid Timothy Dalton and George Lazenby at all costs: my favourite bond movie is probably Live and Let Die)

Romance (most sad):
Atonement
The Notebook
Moulin Rogue
Pride and Prejudice
To Catch a Thief (Grace Kelly)
The Holiday
Funny Face/Roman Holiday (Audrey Hepburn)

Historical:
The Other Boleyn Girl
The Young Victoria
The Duchess
Mississippi Burning
Schindler's List
The Killing Fields
Life is Beautiful

Kid movies that make you miss your childhood:
Home Alone 1 and 2 (anything later than this = horrendous)
Harry Potter
Shrek (1)
The Princess Bride
How to Train your Dragon
Fantastic Mr Fox
Matilda
DISNEY MOVIES!! (Because seriously no-one is too old)
Notable mentions: Mulan, Pocahontas, The Lion King, Hunchback of Notre Dame, Finding Nemo, Beauty and the Beast, Toy Story 3, 101 Dalmations, Up, The Princess and the Frog, Aladdin, Tangled

And if only this movie was real I would die a very happy death:

Check out 'The Exam'!

Psychological thriller. Nothing too special, watched it a couple of days ago and really enjoyed it.
2011 - English, English Language, Philosophy, Indonesian SL, Outdoor and Environmental Studies.

“We are all alone, born alone, die alone, we shall all someday look back on our lives and see that, in spite of our company, we were alone the whole way. I do not say lonely -- at least, not all the time -- but essentially, and finally, alone. This is what makes your self-respect so important, and I don't see how you can respect yourself if you must look in the hearts and minds of others for your happiness.”
― Hunter S. Thompson
