The WAM change for BIOM30001 has occurred. :)

... And the result is officially released.

Well, I was very fortunate and got a H1! That means a 7.00 GPA! I'm really happy I managed to achieve that. Thanks so much to all the people in the years above me who have spent their time helping me out.

Wishing everyone else the same sort of success and happiness with their results! :D

I've never averaged more than 92 a semester. Let alone 94. And never have I gotten all 90+ a semester. In his second semester, this guy has already done what I couldn't do in six.

LMAO at the Microbiology/Immunology department - they miscalculated all our grades because they divided the MC by 50 instead of 40 (which it actually was). Thank God they checked because people's scores increased by up to 4 :O !!

Completed VCE Biology in 2013 with a study score of 47. Offering tutoring in VCE Biology for 2020 in Geelong region! PM me for more details.

My physics 1 score went up by 5 marks a few years back because they forgot to count our prac grade entirely. A friend of mine got his EDDA grade raised by 30 (yes 30) because they forgot to mark his MC question sheet. Uni lyf

hi guys

2016 sem 2 was my final year final sem.
I am doing commerce, majoring in accounting and finance.

I just received my UN-finalised results on LMS.

I failed one subject with 49 marks. (NH- not meeting hurdle requirements)
I took DS, COPR FI, TAX LAW, i received H1, two H2A.

I was expecting to graduate on 10th of Dec.
Do you guys think there is a chance that the subject coordinator might reconsider my mark/situation and give me pass before the release of final result?

thanks guys,

thanks guys,

I had a friend who was in a similar situation (except they handled things through the infrastructure engineering department). They were allowed to do another exam for the failed subject just before they graduated and passed that one and got into masters. I'd just check with your department, maybe email the coordinator.

Hey guys, my engineering WAM is 79.8, as per the distinction calculation.

"Upon completion of the Master of Engineering, it is possible for a student to be awarded Master of Engineering with Distinction provided a student has achieved a high level of academic performance. Eligibility of the Distinction award is dependent on a calculated distinction score.

The distinction score will only take into account level 9 subjects undertaken at the University of Melbourne. This means Study Abroad and Exchange subjects will not be considered. One 12.5 point subject with the lowest mark will be omitted in the calculation of the distinction score. All level 9 subjects with credit points of more than 12.5 points must be included in the calculations. Only marks from the first attempt at a subject will be used. The average mark will be weighted by the credit points of the subjects. A Master of Engineering with Distinction will be awarded if the score is 80 or above."

Does anyone think I qualify lol? Or, has anyone been in this situation? I'm praying that they round..
