Working hard to make yourself and others proud

Okay, I don't just mean parents who might pressure you to do well in VCE, but do any of you have people who you want to be proud of you because of your results in the VCE?

My list is:
Family
Friends
My favourite teacher who I had for HHD last term until she was diagnosed with cancer.

And of cause to prove all those people wrong who said I should aim for something with a higher entry score because I'm "smarter than studying health promotion".

Moderator action: hidden, read only if you want to I guess...

Spoiler
If I get below 90 as my ATAR, my dad would actually chop my dick off.

But anyway, I'm doing this not only to keep my dick, but I want to get into bachelor of science at Melbourne Uni, so I know I need a decent ATAR score.

Plus my cousin reckons I'm a dumb shit so I wanna prove her wrong.

It's a hyperbole mate, but I apologize if I offended anyone.

You're too serious lol

Was anticipating something way worse than what was actually said.

@deleted: I know you were probably kidding but I would say try your best (duh) and try not to let pressure from parents serve as your main motivation for achieving what you want to achieve.

I'm only doing year 12 because I want to go to University. I could list many people that don't want to see me go to University, but I'm not going to, because it's entirely irrelevant.

I've never really had anything to prove to anyone. If I graduate with an ATAR of 65 or 99, I wouldn't care, just achieving my goal is the priority here.

I've got quite a list to be honest. Over the years, I've experienced a lot of hardships correlating with school; peculiar or not, I absolutely hate school to bits for many reasons.

I'm on the verge of expulsion because 2-3 of my teachers who I've stood up to victimise me due to my attitude towards them, and in 4 weeks I'll be on formal review for my position within the school, and I want to prove these omnipotent teachers that I am more than they will ever be. That's another story though.

My list contains of;
Both my mum and dad - obvious reasons. Investing money into me for 12 years to go to an expensive private school.
Specific teachers who've doubted me
Brother - He got a 91 ATAR, which I would be thrilled to beat.
Friends - I've got some good friends who'd actually care about the scores I'd get, despite the distance I've instated between us over the past year or so. Also those friends who are cocky as F who you just want to beat, is a huge motive for me to do well.. :)

Actually now that I think about it my situation is kind of similar to yours however I have cocky teachers to prove wrong and cocky friends who love to flaunt their scores demoralising my other peers. I just want to kick everyone assess. I think I'm going to go on a crusade until I'm on top. Anyways good luck to you all I can say about the teachers is, revenge is a dish best served cold. I mean you go to a private school which could make it hard for you, but aim for dux so that when you give your speech you can pay out all the teachers that gave you shit.   ;D
