'Soccer*' isn't a world. Football is. :)

*Soccer is a dreamed up name for The World Game that the Americans made up because they have their own games that they called some form of 'Football'

to be honest. Im finding it really boring.

Spectacular, but boring.

Bring on the teams and flag bearers.

Btw. I love the Olympics, just never interested in the opening or closing ceremonies

I found the paint-dancing on the paper really cool, along with the moving blocks (I CAN'T BELIEVE IT WAS PEOPLE-OPERATED!!)

All the chinese-y culture made me so happy :) China does know how to put on a good show!

It was a spectacular show, and the stadium looks absolutely beautiful at night. The opening act was the best imo, with the 2,008 drummers.

I couldn't connect with a lot of the cultural stuff so it left me feeling like I'd watched something spectacular in the absence of any emotion. Feel a bit empty actually... :(
