What time are we planning on staying til?
Typical answer is 2 but honestly no stress if a bunch of us want to stay later than that :)

If the teacher doesn't show up after 15 minutes we are legally allowed to leave.

Just wanted to say that if anyone is feeling nervous or anxious about coming, that’s ok. I imagine a lot of us would have had similar feelings when we first came to a meetup (I know I did), so don’t feel like you’re alone. It doesn’t matter if you have 5 or 500 posts, everyone is very welcoming :)

How often do these meetups happen? I think I would like to go, except I have like 3 doctors appointments tomorrow rip. I feel like if I were to go to one one day, I'd definitely be the youngest there, considering most of y'all are practically grandparents (sorry not sorry)

Usually about once or twice a year in VIC and NSW each. The typical one is around ATAR Release time, since it's when people are most stressed, but people missed out last time so this one exists. Nobody cares about age since the majority of us are more or less classified as 'teenagers' or 'young adults' (and plus, at uni, you get used to having people aged from 17-18 to 80 as classmates).

Usually under a big tree, facing the shopping strip with the shop "Aldo Terato" (or similar spelling.) :)

Unfortunately I won't be able to make it :( I've got work in a few hours and I'll probably finish in time but I got my days mixed up, and I've got to take my nephew to get vaccinated a bit later so can't make it

I'll put in every effort to make the next one :) with baklava if I'm not a lazy shit. Have fun all!
