Similar thing happened to me in Bio. I got a B for GA1, A for GA2 and a B+ for GA3. I only got a 35 and was aiming for 38. I was ranked in the top 5 of my cohort, so the GA1 was a bit upsetting.

Ended up getting a 35, which was initially very disappointing. The exam rank was completely unexpected.

Okay this is a little bit scary but here we go...

Literature - 43 (would love 45+ but the Twelfth Night passages on the exam were kind of terrible)
French - 44 (again, would like a bit higher but our exam was disrupted for various reasons)
Latin - 33 (started the year aiming for 30 but I think I did quite well on the exam)

ATAR - 99+ (I hope!!)
I sort of hope these are underestimations but I didn't want to put some crazy high scores on here and then be disappointed!

Okay well my predicted scores from teachers were as follows...
English: 41
Specialist: 36
Accounting: 45
Methods: 41
Chemistry: 38
(and I got 43 in Further last year)
...which gives 98.45

But my predictions are...
English: 38
Specialist: 36
Methods: 43
Accounting: 46
Chemistry: 38
...which gives 98.25

Honestly I'm just really hoping for above 95, above 35 in Specialist and above 45 in Accounting (but I only need around 70 for my course).

Okay well I wasn't far off on my predictions...
English: 38 ( SAC marks got scaled up to A+ but the exam let me down which I already suspected)
Specialist: 40 (absolutely stoked)
Methods: 45 (also very happy)
Accounting: 42 (a little disappointed but still got an A+ on the exam so it is what it is)
Chemistry: 37 (what I expected)

ATAR: 98.30 (Around what I expected initially but pleasantly surprised given by results were not quite what was expected)

Honestly just so happy that my hard work paid off, but my heart is with anyone who is disappointed as some of my friends worked equally hard and didn't get what (I think) they deserved.
