Hey,

I was just laying in my bed just about going to sleep and a question came up in my head.

Let's say they give you a Vin vs t graph and also Vout vs t graph and they asked you to sketch the Vin/Vout graph. How would you determine the maximum Vout voltage before clipping?

I'm not even sure if this is a valid question but anyways

The Vout/Vin graph would be the voltage characteristic of amplifiers you usually see.

Clipping cannot be determined if there is no clipping on the Vout graph. Generally if there is no clipping, you don't have enough data to extrapolate the behaviour of the amplifier beyond the given Vin range, and you can only draw a small linear region over where Vin is given.

i also have a quick question,
can a CRO measure the resistance and current of parts of a circuit?
i know it can measure voltage but yeah

no. It measures physical values only. Resistance is a consequence of physical properties (such as diameter, length, composition), and cannot be directly measured.
