That would be an insane exam mark. I think my friend got 48 in bio last year with something like 108/120?

Hey I was wondering what study score I could get for Bio? I'm in a pretty competitive cohort with over 100 people doing Bio this year and they haven't released rankings, but my SAC average is around 88%. What exam score/range should I be aiming for to get 40+ or 45+? Thanks

Thought I'd give this a go and see what others think my study score could be...

I'm not sure how strong my cohort is (I'm guessing distance ed is just below average?)

Food Studies -
Unit 3: 93/100
Unit 4: 96.5/100
Exam: realistically a bit lower than the above.
Rank: around 9/31 (was ranked 9th after 1st unit, but it may have changed)

Psychology -
Unit 3: 72/100 (oops )
Unit 4: around 78.75/90
Exam: likely around or below unit 3 score I'm guessing?
Rank: 8/26 and again, this was at the end of unit 3

Literature -
Unit 3: 74-77/100 (yikes, not my best moment)
Unit 4: about the same as above
Exam: teachers mentioned most of their students on average drop a whole grade during lit exam
Rank: just above middle of class

What would you predict my study score to be?

Possibility of getting 40+ in legal?

Unit 3 average: 80%
Unit 4 average: 87%
Trial exam mark: 95%

(unsure about ranking, although am positive I am in the top 15% of students of a moderate cohort of around 40 students)

GA3: Probably 90-95%
Rank: 1 or 2 I think

Chemistry
GA1: 90% average
GA2: 91% average
GA3: Probably high 80s or low 90%
Rank: Top 5

English language
GA1: 84% average
GA2: 74% average
GA3: Trial exam gave a 67/75 marks (top score in cohort)
Rank: Upper middle

Methods
GA1: 94% average
GA2: Likely 37/40
GA3: Likely 65-70/80
Rank: Top 10%

School SACs tend to be scaled up (especially biology) and the cohort is strong.

Not too sure about English language since rank isn't sure so something above 40 and likely to be closer to the mid 40's.

SAC Average - 96% (1st in a weak cohort of 10, although the SACs seem to be as hard as the exams)
Exam 1: 38/40
Exam 2: 73/80

Chemistry:
GA1 - 93/100 (rank 2 in weak cohort of 9)
GA2 - ~90/100 (rank 2 in weak cohort of 9)
Exam: 105/120 marks

Would losing a mark Exam 1 while acing Exam 2 in further ensure a 50?

Or does it have to be 100% Exam 1 and max loss of one mark Exam 2?


Assuming SAC scores scale to 100 and assuming same trend as past years of course.
