Japanese
Rank: 1-3/20
Cohort: Weak (competitive at upper end)
GA 1: 100%
GA 2: 100%
GA 3: 340/400
Thanks!  :)

I'm not too sure how competitive JSL is, (going to assume quite competitive cause all LOTES are :P ), and looking at previous grade distributions the A+ grade distribution (which seems to be ~top 12%) fluctuates a fair bit. I'm pretty sure that'd give you 40+ (probs low 40s if last year, but if 2013 or earlier then 45+ imo) but it all depends on how well the rest of the state goes simply because the marks for this subject change so much.

Although if you look at the past statistics, last year seems to be almost 'outlierish' in that the other grade distributions are much different (i.e 2011-2013)..

Biol rank: 3
Weak cohort

GA1: 76%
GA 2: 85%
GA3: mid A+ or low A+

Please if you could predict a SS for both low and mid a+.

Thanks 😀
Don't worry about scores that you can't change  because there are so many more productive things you could do

Being really conservative as I don't know how your SAC's will scale.

Profile says you go to MHS... How is that a "slightly below average cohort"?

Just out of curiosity, I thought MHS didn't allow for people to take Methods 3/4 in year eleven. Correct me if I am wrong though. Did they change or something?

Yeah they don't offer Methods to students in year eleven.
It really affected their results last year as Methods scaled to 52 in 2013 but not in 2014.

Obviously it isn't Melbourne High school as their isn't only 50 students taking it there. Possibly MHS stands for something else.  ;D

My apologies everyone for the inconvenience.

I just put a random school that came to mind as I didn't want to put my actual school (private reasons). It would be appreciated if someone could predict my score. Once again, my apologies. :)

Methods:

Rank 1 in a cohort of ~50 (slightly below average)
GA1: 93%
GA2: 37/40
GA3: 75/80

Rank 1 lets you get 50 and Premiers so it depends on the exam.

Exam Scenario
Low A+ = 39+

Mid A+= 42+

High A+= 45+

Very High A+= 48+

Your scores are around Low A+ for GA2 and High A+ for GA3 so around 42-46

Hey! I just have a question,

A GA is the sac score after it has been moderated with the exam scores of the cohort, so then how are people able to calculate there GA here? Like are they just giving their sac average?

Its not.. but the thread itself is 'Prediction' thus the GAs can be presumed to be estimated moderated marks or their own schools GA before moderation.
