Good places at Monash to hang out?

Guys, got a question here.

Know any good places at Clayton to hang out at lunch? This semester i'm mentoring new students at Monash. I haven't really found a good place to talk to mentees at lunch. Last semester we had it on the dining halls on campus centre XD (such a bad idea, IKR. Never have discussions on dining hall at lunch).

So my question is: anyone know a good place in Monash Uni Clayton to eat lunch and talk? Mind you I'm trying to find something on the commerce side of the campus, since all my mentees are doing commerce degrees.

Cheers!

There are a few good ones around the biomed/med buildings. I personally really enjoy the Med Gardens between buildings 10 and 13: http://lostoncampus.com.au/34412

Next to these gardens, near the histology labs in building 13, there are the Glasgow tute rooms (http://lostoncampus.com.au/12105) which are good for small groups, and are also opposite the Glasgow Courtyard which is very quiet and peaceful.

The airport lounge is also pretty cool if you have a larger group (http://lostoncampus.com.au/19704).

I'm not exactly sure where the commerce area of campus is lol, but you could probably find some free space in Matheson/Menzies/Hargrave

Commerce area is basically the southern side of campus centre. So yeah, I rule out the biomed / med buildings, really. Hargrave's also out.

I don't like Matheson since you'd have to bring food at lunch, and library = lunch is kinda not a good option.

But I like your suggestion on Menzies building though, I'd probably look on that option. Thanks!

Hang on, med/biomed is right next to menzies haha! I've tried to give you a bit of context here, sorry if it's a bit tough to read:

So it's not too far, especially given that some commerce lectures are given in STH1, which is technically part of the MNHS faculty :P

Bus loop. You can sit under cover/in the shade (shelters) and you have a nice view of the buses going past.

Sports Centre (Bit far from Menzies) Quiet and lots of space to sit around. The fried chicken is also good
