if you need to make friends go on like every camp LOL easiest way to make friends

where are these camps????????? I had a few camps earlier in februrary but chose not to go because they weren't filling out, didn't think they'd be any good. I'm in the arts faculty, any upcoming sex fests for me? :D

Is everyone enjoying uni/their courses so far?

Mine isn't really the right one for me (I knew when I put it down honestly) and it feels too much like I'm in year 12 again- minus the friends  :P so I'm thinking of dropping out/deferring and working out what I do want to do  :D

Aw that's a shame. I hope everything works out for you though  :D I've considered moving into B.Commerce/B.Sci several times cuz I don't like how rigid Biomed is but I'll see how I go

B.Biomed is okay. I find some of the subjects (i.e Chem and Calc2) quite dull and dry so it's difficult to find any motivation to study for these. I take solace in the fact that these subjects only last 12 weeks so I'll just grit my teeth and hopefully last through. Still having trouble finding friends to hang out with after class though :/

Yeah although there are 4 lecture streams I'd prefer it be recorded but oh well. I think we're getting the first assignment this week and apparently they're really hard so I'm not looking forward to that at all  :(

Week 3 is nearly underway! Do you guys study in a similar way to when you're in VCE or changing things up? Also, anyone back from any camps that has all seemed to take place in the past couple of days?

Feel like it's more demanding than VCE that's for sure.

Wow u ballin', which ones did you go to?

Yep agreed. Am not sure how to study tbh, compared to VCE where you would resort to textbook and past exam questions.

Same... but because half the subjects I'm doing are foundation ones (doing two units which I didn't do in VCE due to the amount of subject spaces), I've hit the old-style VCE books for them. Good tip to anyone else in the same boat. You could also try to check out related topics from the library (local or uni's) and read those on the commute time instead (not recommended while driving for obvious reasons).
VCE: Psych | Eng Lang | LOTE | Methods | Further | Chem
Uni: Bachelor of Science (Hons) - genetics
Current: working (sporadically on AN)

Yeah same lol. And worst thing is when there's nothing to add/annotate because it's all there.

What do you mean by related topics from the library?

Check out the topics you've been studying. e.g. If you've been doing something on biochemistry, check out a book on biochemistry at the library. (Maybe that was my wording that caught you off-guard.)
