What kinda questions do you have trouble with? Do you have specific ones from checkpoints or something, or just a broad 'I have no clue'?

Have you tried drawing Flowcharts and grids, making your own notes and stuff like that? I know that if you're using the Nelson Psychology book, there's a reallyyy awesome flow chart of the area of studies that they put together. If you don't have that, let me know and I can find it/scan mine for you. :)

no unfortunately i dont have the nelson book so the scans would be very much appreciated.
checkpoints is giving me the most trouble. i can understand the content, but just applying it in questions is troubling me.

Wait is AOS -> Research methods?

Because I was talking about learning and memory >_>

But anywhoo!

Since the Nelson website has lots of stuff, I'll just link you there instead:

http://www.nelsonpsychology.com.au

Go to : Units 3+4 --> Student resources and the password is 'learning'

Tell me if it doesn't work. The flow charts are in 'topic summaries'

Learn things like: advantages of the different research designs, and how to control variables, and things like that. How to apply rather than rote learn.
Best way to understand what they are looking for knowledge-wise is do previous questions: exam papers, checkpoints etc

Hi Sisqo1111,
Research methods can be a pretty bland and dry area of study. I'd recommend (as the others have suggested) going through checkpoints and practice and past exam papers. If you are unable to answer a question, go back to your text book and notes, and look at different examples until you are able to grasp the concept.

Also, send me an e-mail outlining everything you're having difficulty with, and I'll try and give you some explanations, examples and resources. (I'm pretty sure you've got my e-mail yeah?)
