IQ Test?

I think IQ tests for ppl under the age of 10 is just usless.

I had an IQ test when I was little (like Grade 1 or 2 maybe?) because I was born very early and they thought I might have brain damage.
Test showed I was above average lol.

I remember them making us do one when I applied for a scholarship at St. Kevin's in grade 6. Didn't realise it was an IQ test until I went home and told my parents about all the tests... But yeah, like Mel said, the questions get progressively harder, it's quite different to blagogoogle-style IQ tests.

Did they tell you what you got for it?

Mine won't be accurate in the slightest, we never revisited the easy ones once I knew what they were asking.

No idea, but I was the only student offered a full scholarship so it can't have been too shabby

Lol, my mum thought the opposite. I had an IQ test (I think in the last year or two?) and it turned out mine was 105 or something (can't remember exactly). Yay for being average.

Hey, my 4 year old cousin just got his IQ officially checked and got a score of 87. daaaaamn

wtf. That's so young? Children at that age generally can't think logically or classify things into coherent categories, I wonder why did he take that? Also you realize that 87 is lower than average, yes?

Over 140 - Genius or almost genius
120 - 140 - Very superior intelligence
110 - 119 - Superior intelligence
90 - 109 - Average or normal intelligence
80 - 89 - Dullness
70 - 79 - Borderline deficiency in intelligence
Under 70 - Feeble-mindedness

Is the mean of the IQ test only determined by those who take it? If so, the world's average IQ would probably be a lot lower.
