what sort of range of exam marks do you need to get 47 physics?
obviously sac scaling matters, but just assume they are good enough.

Thanks:

Spesh: Rank 1 (very very weak cohort-still haven't finished course in class; up to friction and equilibrium)
Exam 1: 35/40
Exam 2: 65/80

English: Rank 1 for both units
Exam: 54/60

bump oh and we just finished spec course late last week, so disregard "only at equilibrium" in quotations :)

Hi everyone!

Further Maths
Rank 7 (Cohort strong at the top 10 or so, but somewhat weak after that).
My SAC average is around 87.25%.

If I somehow managed to get full marks on both exams, or dropped only 1 mark, what would be my max SS?

I know expecting full marks is unreasonable, especially after my average and ranking, but I am trying very hard and my average only dropped because of one VERY bad and tired morning, so I understand the risks associated with overestimating myself.

Thanks!

Bumpity-bump! :)
P.S. Am I allowed to bump my own posts? :P

Given your relatively poor SAC scores (given you want to full mark the exam) I'd say a 48.

Not to say 88% is bad or anything, it's quite a good achievement in an of itself. However, if you want a 50, then you'd need to be near the very very top (think about how many kids in your cohort will get a 50).

That's okay, I knew my 50 was out the window the moment I mentally blanked during my SAC, so that's a given. 48?! I'm really quite pleased with that! I'm guessing that's a bit optimistic, though, but anyways...thank you! :)

English - Average cohort not sure ranking but top 10%
GA1: 78%
GA2: 81%
GA3 (Exam): 45/60

Approximately, what do I need to score in the exam for a 35?

Specialist Math Rank 6 very strong cohort
GA1: 75%
GA2: (Exam 1) 35/40
GA3 (Exam 2) 65/80

Approximately, What do I need to score in the exam for a 35?

Methods - Rank ~5 Strong Cohort
GA1: 85/100 (Total sacs)
GA2:( Exam 1) 38/40
GA3 (Exam 2):70/80

Approximately, what do I need to score in the exam for a 40?

Accounting  - Rank 3; very weak cohort after the top 4
GA1: 90%
GA2: 75%
GA3 (Exam): I really don't know.

Approximately, what do I need to score in the exam for a 35?

Physics rank very low I suck. Very strong cohort though
GA1:
GA2: overall 72%
GA3 (Exam 2): Probably 75%

Approximately, what do I need to score in the exam for a 30?

Don't know why my ambitions were so low. For all these subjects, what score approximately for 40 in each? Especially accounting, haven't seen any feedback but my teacher says it is very hard to score highly.
