Yeah... I have issues with this too... like the fact that I'll keep forgetting what I changed my password to.

they said something about august 2nd, so i guess every 6 months from then

It changes EVERYTHING. ok maybe it isn't that drastic but my current password is very good (random) and I remember it, if I change it it will be forgotten.
