Hey, that's a great idea. I handed out tutoring flyers at Melbourne University once, for my friend's tuition service (that he discontinued, and forwards responses to me). I'm not sure if they work that well though.

I've never had my student tell me they got my details from a handout, it's always BoS, FSN or iTute.

But that may be because you had to pay. If you tell them about a free VCE forum, they might love it

Yeh exactly. If you splash the page with "free" the little tight asses will be sure to love it =) lol Nah but in seriousness people don't fall for those other vce related promotions because they can be too  expensive. Alsoo those kids who got a flyer would tell their friends and they would tell their friends etc... = 1000+ members

There's also potential at open days and such too.

Everyone could pin one up at their school somewhere, maybe. :O

We'll be improving upon our 'marketing' this year with advertising on other sites, search engine optimization (getting our site to the first page of results), etc.

Suggestions are welcome though, and feel free to advocate Free Study Notes at school, public libraries, etc.

For the creative amongst us, perhaps you could create a banner that could be used as forum/email signature, or on people's personal web pages, to further promote the site.

o-week start on the 25th of february for local students. if that doesn't work, u could do it at an open day or sumthing. get some fsn melbourne uni ppl to hand them out *looks at Coblin and brendan*
