Hi everyone!
I completed 3/4 Legal Studies and 3/4 Philosophy in Year 11 (2020), achieving 𝗿𝗮𝘄 𝟱𝟬 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝘆 𝘀𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀 in each. Now that I'm in Year 12, the content is still fresh in my mind and I'm ready to help others out!
My approach to teaching varies depending on the student's personal learning style. I've been working as a tutor for almost 4 years now and I believe tracking progress and celebrating milestones is very important to developing a student's confidence.
Typically, lessons will take on the cycle as follows:
1. Complete diagnostic to assess the student's current weak areas.
2. Undergo theoretical lessons to patch any knowledge gaps.
3. Put knowledge to the test with essays, practice questions, SACs or exams.
4. Receive and implement feedback.
5. Review and reflect upon improvements.
Of course, lessons are all about YOU, the student, so feel free to construct your own lessons by bringing in the work that's most important you. I can also provide extra resources such as:
- Past full-mark essays and SAC responses
- Practice questions and exams
- Notes and online flashcards
- Help throughout the week via text
I charge $𝟰𝟬 𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗻. I'm also happy to combine consecutive lessons and discuss group tutoring or other arrangements to suit you.
