Well yeah, first round interviews are given to those with UMATs that exceed the cutoff. 98%ile easily does this. ATAR does not come into offering first round interviews only second round.

So if you do well on the umat and get a 1st round offer and do well on the interview aswell, will they not even look at your atar as long as its around 95-98

1st thing, they won't know your ATAR when they release 1st round interview offers anyway, it's based on UMAT alone

I think the minimum atar for standard city applicants is around 97 and you'd need a pretty exceptional interview and UMAT. Monash is insanely competitive because it's the only place you can do undergrad med in Victoria
