I really hoped to get into JMP or Monash but I guess that's impossible with such a bad section 1 score

Ahh...99,85 and 91% UMAT gives you a very decent chance @ Monash.

Wow back in my day 186 was 91%ile or so haha (claiming that class of 2011 is superior here).

I'm not planning to do med anyway , I'm not very interested. So I put Pharmacy / Commerce as my first preference for vtac .  Medicine is probably going to be a backup!

Medicine isn't really a "backup" here (if you cannot get into pharmacy, chances of getting into med would be very very low).

I might have missed it, but okay so I hear now the weighting between ATAR & UMAT to receive an interview offer, is 50:50. What was the weighting in the past? (source please if possible )

For first round offers they made them before ATAR results were even out, so it was 1:0 for UMAT:ATAR.

Do you know how they weighted it for second round offers?

EDIT: Well I'm just trying to prove my dad wrong, he said that UMAT used to be weighted 25% for something.. but I thought UMAT used to be more important, but now it's 50:50 (aka less important, (but still important of course)).

In the past UMAT was only considered for interviews. In 2011/12 they had a proper second round using UMAT+ATAR as they interviews less people in the first round. In 2012/13 they only had a second round for people with 99.80+ ATARs who were eligible for certain scholarships.
