Biology Textbooks?

Hi,
So I'm doing Bio 3/4 in year 11 (and 1/2 in year 10) and I wanted to prepare a little early by going through the 1/2 course at the end of year nine over the holidays. My dilemma is how I should cover the course and effective ways of learning..
I am open to suggestions as to which textbook/other resources I should use.
Thanks very much :)

This is the one. I used this and i couldnt have been happier with the score that i achieved. I attribute my score entirely to this badboy. Really helped me out with my practicals. 10/10 bought chem version as well for this year, i couldn't really understand it and my teacher said thats why i couldnt get 50; nonetheless, this books the stuff

@OP Watch Khan Academy and Bozeman on Youtube. They cover a large portion of units 3/4 as well as 1/2. I wouldn't worry too much about textbooks at this stage. Get a gist of the content, but don't go into any depth as you'll likely forget it by the time school hits next year. Then again, 3/4 Biology doesn't require you to go into much depth at all :p

I'd recommend doing what Grannysmith suggested.
The study design is changing a lot as well so it wouldn't be worth it.
2015: Biology [49]
2016: English, Methods, Chemistry, Philosophy, Physics

Biozone is not specific to VCE Biology, so there is a significant amount of irrelevant information in it. That being said, I did find it useful as a means to familiarise myself to a particular topic before it was covered in class. But I do have to reiterate that the questions are NOT indicative of exam-style questions.

Your teacher may ask you to complete sections of it for homework in which case I would purchase it anyway. If not, then it's not essential.
