VCE Mathematics study design doubt

Hi AN,

I just finished doing Units 1 and 2 of Differential and Integral Calculus. For VCE will I need to learn about partial differential equations? Now I did take a look at the VCE Mathematics study design (and didn't find anything about partial differentiation) but the problem is that the VCE mathematics study design that I have is for 2016-2020, not for 2022.

Probably not, as far as I know, it has never been on the mathematics study design so probably unlikely to be there in 2022 - you can always learn it then if you need to.

PDEs are not in this study design and won't be in the next study design.

Yes, I guess you are right. Thank you.
