SAC 3 help please!

Hey guys I just needed to confirm a few quick questions that would reaaaaaaaaaaaallly help with my Homeostasis SAC i'm doing tomorrow!

So here it goes:

1) How would mammals typically respond to a small drop in core temperature?

- I'm not too sure because of the fact that the question has "small" in it, but I would say shivering? I'm not too sure if the body would start constricting its blood vessels as yet since it's only a small drop in core temperature.

2) How does 'brachycardia' help monotremes control their body temperatures?

- Ok, for this one I have no idea.. Brachycardia, according to Wiki, is a slowing of heart rate (would anyone care to confirm that), but then how does HEART RATE apply to BODY TEMP regulation?

And lastly,

3) When the back of your hand is sweaty, exhale onto it. Explain your observations.

- For this, personally, if I had a sweaty hand and I were to exhale on it, it would feel coldish. I do not know why..

Would anyone be able to answer/confirm these q's?
