could i do civil engineering without having done physics nor specialist in VCE? Would it disadvantage me even though no uni has them as pre-reqs? thanks

you just do the foundation subjects in first semester... these basicly cover all you need to know so in second semester you can merge in with the rest of the engineering students in the normal subjects

At melb uni, u dont need physics for civil engineering at all. In first year, u dont need to do physics and you can still do civil engineering in 2nd year.

Hard, ive read your previous threads and what i do is choose the best course that will suit myself in which i wont become bored off.

I found civil to be the most interesting because your out there working in a total different environment every single project.
Not like law, where you stuck in a room, reading hundreds of papers and dealing with clients 24/7....

I'm not saying don't choose it, but think wisely and think about the future.
And, if you think about the pay, you have to have atleats yrs and yrs of experience before the cash starts rolling in and working in the right field.
ewg : commercial law, etcc....
