Does legal need much effort to do well in? Do you have to read a lot?

It does need a bit of work...I did about 2 hours a week and only got 37 I wish i tried harder and got a better score.

The book is pretty big (500 pages) and you only have one exam, so you need to remember a lot and there is a bit of reading, but not heaps.

LOL constitution...arghh that was the worst 3 weeks of my life!!!!!!!!!!! I remembered all sections and none were on the exam

yeh to get a good score (40+) you definitely need to put effort in, there's alot to remember in this subject.

My teacher said Legal is a relitively 'easy' subject, you just need to be organised and want to do well in it do get a decent score.

It is easy if you put in the effort. To get 35-39 you can afford to be a little slack and then try cram for the exam but if you want 45+ you need to be ridiculously organised.

That's what I did and got 37

Some of the questions in themselves are sorta like essays. Like the 10 mark question that is usually on every exam is basically an essay. You are expected to structure your response in the form of an essay. But learning the content enables you to write confidently in your "essay" per say.
Having a vague understanding of the course dilutes the quality of your response even if you are very good at essay structure.

yeh thats good attitude, i didn't treat it very well last year and i ended up with 34. not good at all

that exam killed my study score. I still have nightmares lol only joking but seriously it was terrible. I managed to write like 8 lines for the big essay question and the one b4 that i stuffed up majorly. i feel serious angst towards that subject, wasted time it was
