Nisha, your English is difficult because whilst the median is 31 it's hard to tell if a lot of the data will be at the high end. I put you at 36-40 I think. I mean, I'd assume the 17 people who beat you are pretty damn good so could be higher than 40 even. I'm sure you understand the trouble.
Methods - 40
Spesh 37[?]
Chem - 38
Physics -35-36
What is required for a 40? In terms of marks [English]
For a 40 you'd be aiming for an 8, 8 and a 9, and hoping that an amount equivalent to your rank also get an A+ in the exam.
If I drop a mark, is there still a chance for a 50? This is a legitmate question since the person who achieved a 50 last year at my school dropped 2 marks, on his statement of results on Ex 2.
Still a chance for a 50. I think it would depend on the grad year also. Last year, he might have got 100% for his SAC GA and 100% on his exam 1. If you dropped a mark, you might have -1 mark on all three.
As for your prediction it's extremely variable. You could be anyway from 38-50. It looks like you'll be very close to 50 being a Spesh student etc.
Spesh -> It's possible. I've been told that Spesh can be variable, Bcubed says he got an A+ B+ A+ = 41, and a guy he knew got A+ A+ A and got 39. I don't think it would get 40 because of the exam 2 weighting.
Chem -> An A on the exam could net you a 35-37, depends on how your cohort goes. With an A it should be a pretty safe 35 at least.
Physics -> You'd want a high A+ for 45-48. Certainly a chance of high 40s, depends on how high your mid year was (I'll assume pretty high because of your SACs. A Mid A+ could net 44.
