What a win for Australia. I really love the way Warner/Bancroft batted that one out, they never really looked like getting out. Brilliant knock from Smith and good bowling all round for the bowlers. Great match boys!!

Of course it was never in doubt :-P . I'm predicting either 4-1 or 5-0 Australia, with Smith as top runscorer, and Aus bowlers fairly evenly sharing the wickets.

Bowlers, I am pretty happy with...=)....  batting is another story....

I'm still not convinced about the batting lineup tbh.  David Warner has had 10 batting partners in the past few years. Spot 6 has changed more than 20 times in the past few years.

We haven't had a stable batting lineup in ages.

pretty conclusive AUS will win the series although may be a bad thing in the long run given how weak the team is. Betting agencies have 1.17-1.18 for AUS, 8.00 for ENG and 11.00 for a Draw

Any predictions for the upcoming Ashes Test? I'm predicting another ton for Smith, in a low-scoring game, with Australia's pacers cleaning up England, with Starc and Hazlewood sharing the wickets, while England's pacers clean up Australia, with Woakes and Anderson sharing the wickets.

I reckon Cook'll go big.

I don't think so, don't forget that he is out of form, and that it is a D/N Test, so there is unlikely to be many, if any, big scores.

england just need to try to take it to a competitive 3rd/4th innings and i reckon they have a shot. I'd favour england in a low scoring game and a green pitch.

Anyone been following the NZ-WI test? WI looking like they're about to get thrashed, as NZ are 242 ahead with 4 wickets in hand in their 1st innings (2nd innings of the match) after WI were bowled out for 134.

Also the Stokes saga is turning out to be very interesting. Anyone else think that sending him to NZ was a dodgy move by the ECB?

Rain, rain, go away... but please don't come to Melbourne.
Go to Perth or Sydney or Alice Springs. But not Melbourne. And definitely not Adelaide right now.
