I'm kind of confused with my Bio SS. I thought i did really good on all my SAC's and even the exam.
I got A+ for all GA's but still ended up with only a 41?

what gives???
I mean everyone above 40 will get A+'s but its the range that matters as well so they were probably low A+'s

I only just opened the email then - I have had my phone on airplane mode and do not disturb all day because I have been flat out and didn't want any random surprises!

Eng Lang: 41 - 43.34 - honestly blown away. Teacher revealed to us before exam revision started that the mean mark for EL at our school was a 31 in 2017 so we all crapped ourselves thinking that half of us were not going to meet the 25 prereq, despite knowing that we were all competent! I'm eternally thankful that this subject exists because if I had been forced into English I know I would be looking at a drastically lower SS and ATAR right now.

Accounting: 49 - 49.25 - The best! I can't help feel a LITTLE sad that I was so close to a 50 but I'm still so damn happy with a 49! I love accounting and put heaps of effort into it and I'm so happy with that result! No one at my school got above 40 for Acc last year and the cohort this year was a little unenthusiastic so I'm expecting to be leading the pack there! Hopefully it gives my teacher a little bit of motivation haha

Further: 45 - 43.64 - Little disappointed about this one. Was rank 1, super confident and happy with exams so shame it wasn't a little higher - though no one in my school ended up getting a 50 for further so I guess my SAC marks weren't as perfect as I thought they were!

Methods: 35 - 40.42 - Whoo! A 40 (scaled...) in methods! Wouldn’t have even dreamt it! I'm super happy with that. It was my calm subject during the year because I didn't pressure myself to get 100% on everything but rather just wanted to understand and try my best and I'm happy with the result from that!

UMEP Accounting: 4.5 - knew this score a while back but it still feels so nice to see it sitting there! Managed a mark of 88 for my semester 2 subject which I am over the moon about and I am absolutely happy with a 45. To any year 10s reading - seriously look into doing a uni subject in year 12. Made year 12 so much easier (yes, easier!) and rewarding. It doesn't suit everyone but at least look it up and think about it!

ATAR: 98.05. Reckon Melbourne Commerce is well within my reach haha! Been doubting myself all year and thought I would have to rely purely on my SEAS and UMEP participation to get in but I should have been less strict on myself!

Methods: 47.51
I don't have info on any of the others, sorry

Wouldn't Methods scale up to 48.51. I thought it goes at least up by 5?

nice!

Hey!
I got a 40 in methods 2 years ago and it scaled to a 44.98, so methods doesn't necessarily scale up by 5, especially as it scales less the higher the raw score.

Thx Sine ..with No bonus or seas
Just normal Atar
Wonder if they will consider 96-96.5

Hey!
Usually at Monash they don't really consider much below 98 without seas unfortunately. A friend of mine got a high 97 and wasn't accepted. Good news is, however, she transferred at the end of this year! So if come January you don't get an offer, definitely aim to transfer! (All you need is an average WAM of 75)

Does anyone have what a 42 in HHD scales to? I can only see my raw score because I'm in year 11

Super ecstatic! Ended up with a 99.4, which is a way higher score than I ever imagined receiving! 50 in Legal and a 48 in English were definite highlights and I couldn’t be happier with how it all went

Honestly, when I first got my results I was a bit sad but throughout the day I realised that I'm pretty proud of myself. First of all, I'm really glad that I did Revolutions in year 11 cause that 43 really saved me. I was mostly disappointed about Italian; I've always been fairly good and I even got the subject award, to get a 30 was like wtf, I was really hoping to get a 34 which would scale up to 40, that I way I could get a 90+ score. However, I'm still glad with my scaled study score, 36. I knew that taking Biology would be a risk from the beginning since I haven't done a science subject since year 9; getting a 25 wasn't that gut wrenching, I always knew that it would end up being one of my 10% increments. I was really happy with Further, even if 30 is average, I've always struggled with maths; I started out year 11 doing foundation so this result really proved to me that I'm capable of doing well in maths. I had a pretty good idea of what I'd end up getting for Legal (33) and Lit (36) so no surprises there; considering the teacher that I had for legal this year, I'm glad that even that was my ss. Thank God that Lit gets scaled up. I've got to admit that I may have slightly burnt out, (Italian definitely could have been better) but at the end of the day, I always had a feeling that my ATAR would be somewhere between 87 to 92 so getting an 87.70 ATAR is extremely satisfying. What I'm most happiest about is that I got a higher score than my sisters (who got 83ish and 84ish respectively). Evidently, the youngest sibling is usually most intelligent ;) Jks, I'm most happiest about ATAR anxiety being over. Sorry if I blabbed for so long; I literally had 3 hours of sleep ahahahah bye.
