I was sitting there with panic for a bit during the Geel vs North Melb game this afternoon. North Melbourne seriously makes me want to pull my hair outta my head at times!! Stressful team to support indeed.

I do enjoy the Geelong supporters ranting on their facebook page about bad umpiring. I think nearly every one of those decisions were legitimate too - also a few high contact ones that weren't paid either. But whatever!!

This round has seen quite some upsets indeed... For the record, it's the first time North have beaten Geelong at Simonds since 2007. A new achievement!!

On another note, I'd also like to read opinions on the Alistair Clarkson issue.. What do you guys think about that? I think it's justified. Put yourself in his shoes. A intoxicated fan in your face after requests to stop.

The umpiring was shit, had it been a closer game (say under 2 goals) and Geelong losing, then it would be influential. Massive upsets this round, did not see the Bulldogs winning this week! Also, Melbourne was a surprise but thought Essendon would roll Collingwood over... My thoughts on the Clarkson thing, everyone's got his back, not much can happen to him and i'm not suprised, he did punch a wall one time lol

He also broke a guy's jaw in an exhibition match (North Melbourne v Carlton in London, funny stories).

Ain't even mad, hope he doesn't get charged.

What made up for Geelong's loss was the fact Hawthron lost the day before too :)

I honestly don't reckon Richmond have what it takes. Look at last week's performance against North. They should have owned North Melbourne given that we rested 9 of our best players. 41 points isn't that significant by Richmond if you look at it from that point of view. I'm not writing off the reserves but with a full strength team such as Richmond, they should've done so much better.

But we'll wait and see. I admit though that Richmond have improved heaps and are pretty good now.

Freo won't, they'll choke before the GF. I honestly reckon it'll be West Coast v Hawthorn again (as much as it annoys me).

Nah I'm predicting WC V Freo OR Richmond V freo.

Hawks will either lose in the semis or prelims. Would be nice to finally see the scum not play a gf.

Richmond. haha that's a funny one. If it wasn't for the Swans missing at every opportunity for a shot, they would've led by a significant margin. 18 behinds. Just imagine if they were converted to goals instead of sloppy kicks. Both the teams today played poor. I enjoyed the match last night more though, there is really nothing better than Hawthorn getting defeated.

Sad the dogs lost, they've had so many opportunities and didnt make the most of it. Especially when they were streaming forward, that handball turnover in the middle with about 1.30 on the clock cost them the game i think. I think it'll be freo vs wce for grand final and wce to win it. a bit ironic that we have a Victorian public holiday for grand final eve when it might not be played here ....

Pretty sure it'll be hosted at the MCG regardless. Domain Stadium doesn't have the capacity to host all the AFL sponsors, grand final ticket holders etc.

Go the roos!
