Offering Methods & Specialist Tutoring

Hi! I'm Nick and I'm offering Mathematics tutoring to secondary students wishing to achieve their best. I've always had an interest for maths, dating even back to primary school, so for those who may be struggling with various concepts or the whole subject in general, I can provide guidance to lead you down the right path.

I recently graduated (2018), scoring an ATAR of 98.75, including scores of: scaled 51 (raw: 41) for SM and the year before that (2017) I received a scaled 48 (raw: 44) for MM. I also completed the University of Melbourne Extension Program for Mathematics (UMEP), achieving First Class Honours in both first and second semesters (Linear Algebra/Calculus 2). I am now offering tutoring for maths in general (pre-vce), however I mainly focus on teaching Mathematical Methods and Specialist Mathematics for VCE. As such, I have many resources such as past SAC questions, exams, and much more which I can provide to augment your learning and to really reinforce an understanding of a certain concept.

In relation to studying, I believe that in order to excel, fully understanding the topics at hand, rather than memorising step by step procedures or formulas are crucial. Hence, my sessions will revolve around you, and will be tailored to the concepts that you may be struggling to understand on your own, or tips to help you achieve your best for an upcoming SAC and/or the final exam. However, outside of these classes, should there be any queries I can reply to such questions quickly via both email or text message should such a need arise.

I am offering tutoring in the locations of Glen Waverley Library, Monash University (Clayton) and Box Hill Library. However, these are also negotiable within reason of my area (Doncaster East).

Classes will be $30/hr, but I do offer a free one hour trial lesson to get started.

So, if you are at all interested please feel free to contact me via email: [email protected] and we can be in touch!

Let's make this year a successful one!
