Yay! Me too! Of course, Specialist is twice as hard as Methods, and 3 times as hard as Further. :)

Hopeless in practical situations?

We learn clinical skills from day one

Melbourne kids are lucky to have given a patient an injection until year 3

Besides all medical courses are AMA accredited, so no graduated student, of any university is likely to be hopeless

The course is no more "solid" than any other in the country really, each course has a different focus, but you're gonna come ou of it with the same qualifications

At the end of the day, you're gonna be a doctor.

That's interesting coz at the Melbourne Open Day they were telling us about how they're trying to get the Graduate Professional Degree for Med to be the equivalent of an M.D. rather than the old M.B.B.S.

Yeh, the new melbourne course will award the MD

But i really don't think that means anything in the grand scheme of things

99.95 does not guarantee entry. Medicine at Monash selects based on ENTER, UMAT and the interview equally (33% weighting to each.)
