Psych unit 4 2010 - a lot of easy slip ups?

I found that when I left the exam, I realised I'd made all these silly mistakes.
I guess the questions weren't very good retrieval cues ;\

What did everyone write for that question about classical conditioning/fear of spiders ?

I agree, i agree. Weird exam, what was with that question about retrieval failure :O
Umm I said the psychologist would present the CS (spider) without the UCS (mother's terrified reaction) and therefore lead to the extinction of the CR (fear response to spider) but most people said systematic desensitisation so I dunno :/

i wrote the same for the fear of spiders, seeings as the question asked what could the psychologist with regards to classical conditioning, or something along those line..

just explained the technique of systematic desensitisation and applied it to the question
