Intermediate Macro 9th
Stochastic Modelling 10th
Derivative Securities 12th
Statistics 19th

Would pay a fair amount of cash to move stochastic modelling to where it belongs, in the third week...
statistics should go and die. hate that subject with a passion. and hate richard huggins. shall i skip the rest of the lectures from now till end of semester?

I was thinking of doing that subject.  What's wrong with it?

I got the worst timetable:
09-Nov-2010 ECON20001:     Intermediate Macroeconomics
10-Nov-2010 BLAW20001:   Corporate Law
11-Nov-2010 FNCE20001:    Business Finance
12-Nov-2010 MGMT20001:    Organisational Behaviour

4 in 4 days.
Yeah, beat that!

do it if you like stats. for one, i only chose it cos i thought it would be easy (since its only a 2nd year subject)... but I guess i was totally wrong. but the lecturer sucks. u would think that teaching the subject for SOOOOOOOOOO MANY years, he would be clear, concise (and maybe not boring cos he would have experience)... but he aint all that. :(
I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER!!

The lectures aren't great, can't say I've been to many though.

Life improved when it turned out the MBB2 exam is on the 12th and not the 8th.
Mainly because I have a huge writing folio of like 8000 words, and two 2000 word essays due on the 8th and only one week to really do them.
Four extra days to study should be good!
I'm relatively pleased enough.

Calc 2: 8th Nov
Intro Macro: 9th Nov
ATA: 16th Nov
Linear Algebra: 17th Nov

Pretty happy with the timetable.

Gloamglozer, I'm screwed for Linear Algebra as well. Do you think we need to memorise all those proofs????

I don't think memorising would be the best thing to do but I've looked through some past papers, and there weren't any "proofs" we needed to do.  The only "proof" that I've come across was using the subspace theorem.

Ouch.  That was pretty much my timetable in 1st semester.  I had my breadth (economics) on the same day as chemistry as well.

All 2 hour exams! Best time table ever !!!!

Hah! I can trump that with only three 2 hour exams :P

Microbes, Infections and Responses: 12 November
Integrated Human Structure And Function #1: 17 November
Integrated Human Structure And Function #2: 24 November

My timetable is a thing of beauty <3

Yeah but you face more risk with a double core  ;D

Yeah but then your 7s are double weighted ;)

I find it preferable really, I mean it's less contact hours but you still do the same amount of study + the study is easier to organise.
