just so we've all noticed, there's going to be a highly likely interest rate rise (already....)
sigh?

plus talk of a recession is already presented itself in the reserve bank

great voting Australia!

i was lucky that i didnt have to vote, since i'm underage as well as non-citizen. so...
not saying if howard stayed in power he would be able to sway the inevitable, but at least he would react better than the L-plated Labour...

Lol, you sound like the Liberal Party pamphlete I got in the mail. Rudd was only sworn in on Monday, he hasn't had the opportunity to cause rate rises yet.

Mmm, the Liberal pamphlet rather put me off. "We shall endeavour to protect families from hoons and anti-social behaviour"  Families, eh?

Wha? What's that supposed to mean !? :P

In my electorate, we didn't even have campaigning. I think Julia made ONE appearance throughout the whole campaign, and that was on election day.

Not like she was going to lose Lalor anyway. I had money on Rudd to win and it's smiles all around.
ENTER: Incomprehensibly high

havent u watched that video (electoral rap by axis of awesome)? it was on sunrise...

for the 30 billion tons of pamphlets i received, it was bullcrap... both parties were just buying votes, such a shame to see the promised promises aren't going to be easily "implemented" or "refused by private companies"...

at the end of the day, the majority of power is not in the hands of politicians, i know that's a big claim (dont expect much good evidence from me), but we're not in a crisis (such as a war) where the govt decisions affect our daily aspects of life, atm we're under the hand of the national reserve bank, comprised of several banks that are the backbones of our economy and NOT govt owned (but with govt "advisers")...
which makes the whole election like a big joke to me~~~
hence that video =D watch it!

Yeah, Lalor's pretty close, I live in Jagga Jagga. Also a safe Labor area, Jenny Macklin is our MP.
I always feel like my area makes me biased, but I try not to be. I just argue what makes sense to me.

Ahh okay. I've always wondered if you know any "Ballard"s (surname) because I have a friend who used to goto Eltham HS, as well as his siblings (before he went to MHS).
