I am not sure about this question. I think it has to with something about the genetic drift of species or the genetic differences. But I am not sure.

The reason why genetic drift is coming to mind is because the diagram displays the founder effect.

Not really related to the question,  but in general I would recommend you think about genetic drift on a population level rather than necessarily a species level
