Doing a bachelor of commerce at Melbourne Uni with maths subjects as breadth followed by either more maths, more commerce, work or post-graduate law wouldn't be an option?

He could do a bacholor of commerce at Melbourne with a diploma in mathematics, and major in economics or finance, which are very tricky and problem-solvey

now apparently he's changed his mind about going interstate and wants to do double degree finance/economics at anu (i go to anu btw, not just a random choice). it looked nicely mathsy enough for him. i think comm/law at monash or comm at melb will stay his top vtac preference, just in case he changes his mind again. thanks :)
