25 in methods?

Hi everyone.

So I suck at methods, with at the moment a 40-50% SAC average. Is a 25 achievable?
I'm easily the worst in my class.

Hell yeah, easy as pitotally not funny.
40-50% isn't a good SAC average, but it's not bad either. It can be brought up to 60% quite easily with some solid work, putting you in good striking range to score a 25 SS.

You'll want APPROXIMATELY 30/80 for EXAM1 and 60/160 for EXAM2 at minimum (this is including a few more marks than the top 78% of the state which is the amount of students in the subject that score 25 or above).

And, as for "sucking at methods", many other students also suck at methods, so if you're just one step ahead of those students then you're destined for more than a 25. Its true.

What are you finding difficult? Ask for teacher's help. Make sure you are doing regular revision, do plenty of questions until you feel confident.

With assessments, it's very important to try to past sacs/ papers to get a good idea of what the test would be like. (Also strengthens your test taking skills)

Just because you are struggling, don't be so quick to judge and limit your potentials.

With a little bit of hard work, you'll be surprised how far you'll come.

Thanks everyone.

I guess I'm not motivated because I really hate the subject, but I really do need that 25 for the business course I want to do. I'll try and work a little harder, but thanks for the tips, I really appreciate them :)
