Japanese 2 - Haven't done Jap 1 but done VCE Jap

Hi,

I want to enrol in Jap 2 in sem 2 but it won't let me because I haven't done Jap 1.

However I have done VCE Jap which satisfies pre-reqs for Jap 3. Am I still able to do Jap 2 using my VCE completion as evidence? I've emailed uni but no response yet.

Thanks

I think since you've done VCE jap you should by default be placed in Jap 3 Post VCE. You will probably need to do a test to indicate what level you are on. If you're below the Jap 3 standard, you can enrol in jap 2 etc.
