Im just wondering what a possible study score for methods will be with the following results:
Sacs: Average 88% (top 3 in a class of 25)
Exam 1: between 30-32/40
Exam 2: around 70/80
Thanks

Easily, yes. You may get in to the 40s (raw) or perhaps higher.

exam 1 30-32 definitely an A. i'll say a mid-low A.
exam 2  70ish definitely an A also. could be either an high A or low A+.
definitely 38+... if not 37+.

i remember getting a 36 ss with
Coursework A+ (95)
Exam 1 low B
Exam 2 low-mid A

if i got those grades with 36 ss raw, you can only get higher than me with the grades you predicted you got for methods exams this yaer.
I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER!!

lol and I got a 36 in solo performance with

mid to high A
Low A and
95.5% Sacs (must have been moderated cause I know I got 98% in Sacs...)

so much for my hopes of getting 38+ in it....
I believe life is constantly testing us for our level of commitment and life's greatest rewards are reserved for those who show a never-ending commitment to act until they achieve. This level of resolve can move mountains, but it must be constant and consistent. As simplistic as this may sound, this is still the common denominator that separates those who live their dreams to those who live in regret.

Hi Bonghead (lol) i did methods last year

i believe they presented the scores like this

GA1
GA2
GA3

i think the order was SACS, exam 1 and exam 2.

i got
GA1: A+ (possibly a low one because i did get a few A's during the year, although my class was elite so that may have boosted me up)
GA2: A+ (fairly sure i went home remembered my answers and compared with itute.com and got 39/40 or 40/40)
GA3: B+ (didnt bother checking because i knew i stuffed it up)

so yeah that got me a 37 raw. but it went up to 42.85 so im slightly happier about that. anyways all the best to everyone especially those doing spesh. one exam left for me to fail and thats latin! oh joy!

hope that helps :P

So they present your results as:

GA1                      /100
GA2                     /80
GA3                    /160

Do they just put your raw score in each, or do they give you a scaled score/percentile.
oping for an ENTER of 99+

They present your results as a bunch of letter grades, followed by a study score. If you want the raw scores, you have to pay $8/subject.
You only find out your scaled scores at the end of year 12, as vtac does scaling not vcaa. But your subjects this year are scaled according to this years cohort so if you find someone with the same raw score, they can tell you exactly what you will scale to

So we get SMSed, mailed or internet-posted-up (i dont know the word for it) our RAW scores then? and we have to calculate the scaling ourselves?

No, if your ENTER is calculated too, (i.e. you've done english + 3 or more other subjects) then they give you raw and scaled on the interwebs.
